Full Auto Introduction & Orientation

WHAT THIS COURSE IS FOR
The purpose of the course is to introduce law enforcement personnel to automatic weapons. Students are taught how to handle various full auto firearms in a safe and responsible manner. You will also be educated on the basic principles of automatic firearms and how they differ from more common semi-automatic firearms.
WHAT THIS COURSE CONTAINS
This introductory class to machine guns covers the following topics:
• A brief overview of State Laws concerning Class 3 (NFA) Firearms.
• Basic orientation of the firearms being used in the course.
• Loading and unloading the firearms safely.
• Range Operations & Firearms Safety.
• Shooting Fundamentals, including proper machinegun shooting positions.
• Proper burst control.
All students will fire their choice of 3 guns with one 25 round magazine each in full automatic under the supervision of certified firearms instructors. The class fee includes all course materials, ammunition (75 rounds), range fees, and the use of select firearms. Additional ammunition will be available for purchase at an additional cost at the range.
The following firearms will be available: (subject to change)
M-16 – Full Auto – 5.56 Caliber
AK-47 – Full Auto – 7.62 x 39 Caliber
Kriss Vector – Burst or Full Auto – .45 ACP Caliber
H&K MP5 – Full Auto – 9MM Caliber
Please note: This class is an introduction and orientation only and is simply for basic knowledge and familiarization of full-auto firearms.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
A current law enforcement ID.
WHAT YOU DON’T NEED TO BRING
You will NOT need to bring a firearm or ammunition. Additional ammunition for these firearms must be purchased at the range.
